Officially Recognized: Vibes4Future Is a Tax-Exempt Charitable Association

April 28, 2025 A. Saile 0 Comments

We’re glad to share an important milestone for Vibes4Future: we have been officially recognized as a charitable nonprofit association and granted tax-exempt status by the Canton of Bern.

For us, this is more than a legal formality. It’s an external confirmation of what we set out to be from the very first day — an organisation that exists solely for its charitable purpose, with no economic interests of its own. Tax-exempt status means our work is held to clear standards of accountability, and that every contribution serves the mission: greater independence, dignity, and quality of life for people with limited mobility.

What this means for you as a supporter:

Your donation goes to the cause. As a recognized nonprofit, we operate without profit distributions and with a volunteer board — funds are used for the mission, not for personal gain.

Your donation may be tax-deductible. In Switzerland, contributions to recognized tax-exempt charitable organisations can generally be deducted within the legal limits. Whether and how much applies depends on your canton and personal situation, so it’s worth checking with your local tax authority.

You can request a donation receipt. If you’d like a receipt for your contribution, simply get in touch through our contact page and select “Donation Receipt Request.”

Recognition like this is built on transparency and accountability — the same principles we hold ourselves to every day. You can read more about how we work, and find our official documents, on our Transparency page.

Thank you for placing your trust in us. It’s exactly that trust we intend to honor — openly, and for the long term.

“This recognition is not a finish line — it’s a responsibility. The Canton of Bern has now confirmed in law what we committed to from the very first day: that every franc serves the cause, and nothing else. For me, that isn’t a constraint. It’s a promise I’m proud to be held to.”
